Kristy Lomas, The Founder of The Ki Retreat, is an intuitive Healer & a multi-disciplined therapist, with over 20 years experience.  She works with Reiki, Sekhem, Violet Flame, Crystal & Shamanic Healing. Alongside Kristy stand her inspirational Spirit Team who have aligned with her for the highest good of all her clients. Her Spiritual Heritage has brought her face to face with her Soul Mission, which has inspired her to create transformational workshops & healings.

          The mission of The Ki Retreat, is to introduce people to holistic therapies such as Reiki, Crystal healing & meditation; bringing them more in to the mainstream.  The Ki Retreat wants to make them more accessible for people, by normalising them- helping to show people the tools needed in order to look after their own emotional and mental wellbeing.

​"I have many childhood memories, of my Grandmother taking me out in to nature, trying to introduce me to my energies and to ground them - As a child, I tried to run away from this, it wasn’t “normal”.  I am now grateful for it. Being brought up around all aspects of Spirituality has allowed me to find my own path, without question.
You could say that healing is the “family business.” Both my Mother and Grandmother worked with Shamanic practices.  Amongst other modalities, my mother was also a Reiki Master, therefore I have always known the benefits of Reiki and practised them without realising,  
During my pregnancy, I decided to study my first Reiki degree so that I could treat myself and my baby whilst pregnant.  I then wanted to be able to share the deep relaxation and benefits with other people, so I decided to study for my second level degree.  I have since trained and achieved my Reiki Master Teacher level. 
From there, I was drawn to Crystal Healing (having been obsessed with crystals for as long as I can remember!)  After a trip to Peru, I next felt guided back to Shamanism, and qualified in Shamanic Energy Healing, Ancestral healing and Past life healing.
I am also one of the few practitioners in the UK that offers Reiki Drum Healing- a powerful healing that combines Reiki healing with Shamanic drumming.
I love getting a chance to share, and to teach Reiki to others. As a Reiki Master teacher, I feel honoured to have witnessed the positive life changes it brings to people.  It is a beautiful thing to see.
